New South Wales won the 2026 State of Origin series 2-1, taking Game I in
Sydney and the decider in Brisbane. Queensland won Game II in Melbourne.
This completed-series guide keeps the dates, venues, final scores and local
kickoff times together. FootyTonight's /nrl/fixtures page also
lists the matches alongside the wider NRL schedule.
What time did State of Origin start in each state?
All three games kicked off at the same time. Because the series took place
during the Australian winter, the state-local start times were:
NSW, Queensland, Victoria, ACT and Tasmania: 8:05 pm AEST
South Australia and Northern Territory: 7:35 pm ACST
Western Australia: 6:05 pm AWST
The state-by-state times above are the local equivalents of the official
8:05 pm AEST kickoff.
How the 2026 series was broadcast
In Australia, the 2026 series was broadcast live and free on Nine and
9Now. This is a historical record of the original coverage, not a claim that
live or replay access is still available.
The FootyTonight editorial desk covers AFL and NRL fixtures, results and how
to watch across Australia. We are an independent guide and are not affiliated
